In these years, it has made it possible for this sport to be an elite sport and highly sought
after by all age groups.
With the participation of 2,800 high school graduates from Tirana, Durrës ,Elbasan at the same time as all the high school graduates from the Western Balkans, recorded and broadcast directly by TVSH and TV SCAN, ADSF as a partner of MAS and KOKSH in important international activities organized in our country has been supported by MAS and KOKSH.
Sports dance is spread almost in all the main districts of our country, such as: Tirana, Durrës, Fier, Vlorë, Lezhë,Korca,Pogradec,Shkoder and so on. The Albanian Sports Dance Federation has fulfilled the purpose and objectives for:
Currently, over 700 sportsmen in all age groups train every year at FSHDS and sports associations, sports dance teams, members of FSHDS.
It consists of national and international sports dance trainers and judges licensed by the Albanian Sports Dance Federation and recognized by the World Sports Dance Federation, in all sports dance disciplines. Coordinator and trainer of many national and international activities, various national and international projects. Champion, former champion of the country in different disciplines and age groups. Elite athletes who have won national titles such as the best athlete of the year nominated by FSHDS and KOKSH. Athletes who have been rated with stars by the WDSF, and have been announced as the image of the WDSF, who are organized and lead the committee of elite athletes under the FSHDS. FSHDS has held 20 national sport dance championships, and many more other national activities such as: Standard & Latin Dance Republic Cup, U14/U15/U18 Team Republic Cup. The championship of the best in Standard dance, Latin dance, Championship of Standard and Latin dance formations. FSHDS has participated in many official international activities, where Albanian athletes have represented the Albanian national team in a dignified manner and have earned gold, silver, bronze and other trophies. In the 5 years of Futs, on average, every week the athletes of the national team have participated in various international activities and in many of them they have been in the pod in the ½ final, 1/4 final where they proudly unfurled the Albanian national flag, as an ambassador of sports and Albanian culture. Vocational Education Program The most important focus of FSHDS remains professional education, in function of which FSHDS has designed and implemented the medium and long-term professional qualification program for athletes, trainers and judges, in cooperation with WDSF Dance Sport Academy, FSHDS Dance Sport Academy, KOKSH FSHDS organizes at least four congresses of (basic to open figures) in Albania every year with the best lecturers of FSHDS and WDSF Dance Sport Academy in the disciplines (Standard & Latin, other dances) The sports activities of FSHDS have been reflected in the visual and written media The dancers of Sports Dance have given the sports-loving public different, very beautiful programs, nationwide competitions and spectacles, organized with high culture and technique, which have been welcomed by the audience inside and outside Albania. Undoubtedly, the governing body of this sport, FSHDS, has played an important role in its promotion sports dance in our country and achieving results that make us proud.
